Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery is thrilled to announce the winners of our ‘A Sense of Wonder’ Comic Competition! 

The competition, which ran from October 2022 to January 2023, was designed to inspire students to create their own visual stories in response to the themes and imagery of the current exhibition, ‘A Sense of Wonder’: The Curious Robot World of Matt Dixon.

The submissions were truly amazing, and it was challenging for the artist Matt Dixon to select the winners. We are proud to announce that the following students have been selected as the winners:

• Eloise Ward (Christ the Saviour Primary School, age 9) for “Untitled“
• Zarah Aboki (Christ the Saviour Primary School, age 9) for “The Journey!“
• Olivia Dennis (Christ the Saviour Primary School, age 10) for “The Final Piece“
• Quillan Tricket (The Green School for Boys, year 11) for “Demon’s Run“
• Saad Khan (The Green School for Boys, year 11) for “Hell’s Rubber“
• Valington Fernandes (Northolt High School, year 9) for “Love Games“
• Pavithra Yogalingam (Northolt High School, year 9) for “Flashbacks“
• Nina Hoan (Northolt High School, year 9) for “Company“
• Viktor Vasilev (West London College) for “Accident“
• Evie Tapiki (West London College) for “Game of Life“

• Amina Gadzhikhanova (West London College) for “Around the World“

The works submitted by these talented students are a testament to young artists’ imagination and skill. We are thrilled to be showcasing their work at Pitzhanger. The exhibition of the winning entries will be a must-see for all visitors, as they will be able to experience the unique perspectives and interpretations of the themes and artwork presented in the exhibition.

We want to congratulate all the winners and thank all the students who participated in the competition. The “A Sense of Wonder” Comic Competition was a great success, and we look forward to hosting more similar initiatives.
