Please see the opening hours page and the Festival programme for full details.
Join us for an evening of after-hours access to all our current exhibitions, including an exclusive glimpse into Katherine Gili’s latest exhibition, Language of the Physical, at Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery. Gili’s remarkable sculptures, spanning over four decades of work, explore the dynamic relationship between materials like steel and paper, form, and emotion. This sneak peek offers a unique opportunity to experience the exhibition ahead of its official opening on 8 November 2024.
5–7.30pm
In addition to exploring the exhibitions, join us for an informal, self-led still life workshop inspired by Grayson Perry’s tapestry The Annunciation of the Virgin Deal, currently on display in the gallery as part of The Vanity of Small Differences. Drop in for 15 minutes and discover how Perry drew on the works of Renaissance masters like Carlo Crivelli, Matthias Grünewald, Robert Campin, and Jan van Eyck. Let their influence guide you as you sketch a still life inspired by the rich tongue-in-cheek symbolism in Perry’s piece, featuring everyday objects such as Cath Kidston bags, Penguin mugs, and discarded Birkenstock clogs. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or picking up a pencil for the first time in a while, everyone is welcome to take part!
Don’t miss this twilight preview of our new exhibition, paired with a creative hands-on workshop!
