Pitzhanger’s Thursday Lates are a recurring programme, happening on the first Thursday of each month, with a variety of evening events as Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery stays open after hours.
Each Thursday Late features a unique theme, with opportunities to join talks and premium programmes led by artists and special guests (separately ticketed). A wide range of activities and workshops are also included in general admission, and all Thursday Lates ticket holders enjoy access to Pitzhanger, all exhibitions, and free drop-in activities throughout the evening.
Join us in June for our Thursday Late in collaboration with London Festival of Architecture. Celebrating 250 years since the birth of Turner, join Jennifer Francis (Director, Turner’s House), Clare Gough (Director, Pitzhanger), and Eddie Heathcote (Architecture & Design Critic) will discuss the formative voices that have shaped Pitzhanger Manor and Turner’s House.

If These Walls Could Talk: Exploring the History of Pitzhanger Manor and Turner’s House Through Their Architecture and Custodians 20685_30fdf0-34> |
Built as the dream homes of Sir John Soane and J.M.W. Turner, Pitzhanger Manor and Turner’s House have witnessed centuries of change – shaped by their owners, transformed through time, and now standing as cultural and artistic landmarks. In this 250th year since Turner’s birth, Join Jennifer Francis (Director, Turner’s House), Clare Gough (Director, Pitzhanger), and Eddie Heathcote (Architecture & Design Critic) as they explore the layered and little known past of these spaces – from Turner’s House as a WWII ‘shadow factory’ to Pitzhanger’s legacy with the Perceval sisters. This talk invites you to rethink how buildings embody voices across generations. 20685_3117aa-d5> |
