Overview

Join artist Ola Hincapié for an evening of botanical tile making at Pitzhanger. Create your own clay tiles using traditional tile-making methods and play with botanical imprints to celebrate the wilder part of the city. You will cast stems, leaves, branches, flowers and plants including wild mint, rosemary and dandelion, found and foraged from Walpole Park and create a beautiful tile to take home.

Your ticket includes access to the Manor and exhibition Anthony Caro: The Inspiration of Architecture from 5pm.

About the artist

Ola Hincapié is a performer working with soil, textile, clay and the community. Their work looks at the land and ephemeral spaces of cities by observing the environment and gathering people to debate, create and play. Ola facilitates drama, clay and craft workshops in schools and arts organisations across Europe.
