Rattles & Hums Music Workshop with Kjell Zille

Get set for a musical adventure that will have your little ones singing, playing and bopping along to some very catchy tunes. Join Kjell (he/him) from Rattles & Hums for a musical start of the day!

From classic, much-loved nursery rhymes to modern children’s songs with interactive elements, expect tunes about pirates, sleeping bunnies and more.

But there will also be puppetry, some flowery magic and if time allows, we’ll be using a parachute to make three eager sea creatures fly!

This session is perfect for babies and toddlers aged 8 months to 5 years.

Fashion Illustration with Aisling Haymes

Join local textile artist Aisling Haymes for a morning of fashion design and illustration inspired by Grayson Perry’s exhibition, “The Vanity of Small Differences,” currently on display at Pitzhanger Manor.

Bring your imagination and play, explore, make and build outside Pitzhanger as the popular Assemble Play return this summer! Find giant blocks, boxes, colourful fabric and many other treasures and make exciting play landscapes together.

Playful Plantlife Drawing Workshop with Johanna Tagada Hoffbeck

Join artist and The Gardening Drawing Club’s founder Johanna Tagada Hoffbeck for a soft drawing session focusing on movement and plants. Through playful repetition, pace and movements, the children and parents in this session will be invited to follow the lines they will draw using a variety of coloured pencils and feel the calming and confident feeling that emerges from such repetition. Plants freshly cut by the artist in the lush garden of Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery will be the subjects of the drawing.
