About this event
Join us for the first Sunday of each month for special tours, workshops and creative activities inspired by Pitzhanger and our exhibitions, including storytelling and children’s trails.
Art Workshop
This month is the last chance to see the dazzling Dappled Light exhibition, and to commemorate the occasion, we are hosting Rana Begum-inspired craft activities lead by the artist facilitator behind our popular Little Builders programme, Bea Maccarrone.
Hula Hooping Workshop
Step into the hoop and join in the joy of hula hooping with this free drop-in workshop open to all ages and levels lead by facilitator Sarah Richardson. With hoops available for adults and children, playful simple techniques will get you into the groove, spinning a hoop and having a hula-load of fun! New to hooping? This workshop is the perfect opportunity to try something new.
All are welcome and hoops will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Feel free to bring your own hoop!
This workshop will run from 11-12:30pm and is to be held in the gardens outside Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery. The workshop may not run in adverse weather, so we have an alternative activity in place in case of rain. Please register your interest in the workshop as there are a limited number of hoops! We encourage participants to spend no more than 30 minutes at a time with the hoops to allow time for others to participate.
Sarah Richardson is an artist and well-being practitioner committed to inspiring creativity and self expression through hands-on practical workshops.
Children’s trails available in the Manor for visitors 5+ including Imagined Spaces, our new Spotters’ Trail, Architect’s Apprentice and Plants at Pitzhanger. Collect a reward from the front desk after completing yours!
