Join the Exhibition Curator, Dr Cliff Lauson (Director of Exhibitions at Somerset House, previously of the Hayward Gallery) as he introduces the extraordinary site-specific works in the Gallery and Manor by Royal Academician, Rana Begum.

Dappled Light will explore the perception of light, colour and form. Begum has exhibited worldwide and notably is on the 2022 Committee for the Royal Academy’s Summer Exhibition. The exhibition will feature a newly-created large-scale suspended mesh installation and Rana’s first video work, which captures the fugitive light in a woodland outside the artist’s city home as it cycles through the seasons during a year of lockdown.
