Children lead sensorial and creative activities in a relaxed, free-flow play space at the Rickyard for under 5s.
About this event
Included in Loving Living London blog as Top 5 London Art Galleries to take your baby/toddler to!
Families are invited to visit Pitzhanger Manor and Gallery, have a discounted coffee and cake and free babyccino at Pitzhanger Pantry near the playground, and then come to the Little Builders session at the Rickyard.
This session has been inspired by Pitzhanger’s extraordinary features designed by Sir John Soane. How many shapes can you spot during your visit? Can you find circles, squares and triangles? What about patterns? Don’t forget to look up! In this session our Little Builders and their parents will be exploring shapes, patterns and solids, through sensory play and process art activities, influenced by Montessori and other child-centred philosophy and pedagogy.
Little Builders sessions can be messy and it is advisable to wear suitable clothing. Please bring a spare change of clothes. Although much care is taken to plan safe and suitable activities for your children to engage and explore independently, please remember that, Children must be supervised by their accompanying adults at all times and must be never left on their own.
Little Builders is planned and delivered by Beatrice Maccarrone (Learning Facilitator and Montessori Educator).
Special Offer: If you visit Pitzhanger Pantry in Walpole Park after your session you can enjoy a half price regular hot drink and cake (subject to availability) and your under 5s can have a FREE babyccino.
