About this event

Celebrate Black History Month with singer-songwriter and Textile artist Jaixia, amidst her Jigsaw Heritage display at Pitzhanger.

Join singer-songwriter and Textile artist Jaixia in a unique storytelling workshop, you will be guided toward whichever medium of expression calls you – beginning with collage, evolving into poetry and ultimately song. Piece together the stories of your heritage, and discover who you are from the roots up.

Open to all ages, abilities and backgrounds, families welcome. Participants can choose their own rhythm to work within.
