Pitzhanger Manor will be closed from noon to 5pm on Wednesday 26 March for a private event. The gallery and part of the Alison Watt: From Light exhibition will remain open. During this time, enjoy discounted gallery admission: £8 Standard / £4 Student. Gallery visitors will also receive complimentary manor access on a future date (register at the front desk).

Overview

We are delighted to invite our members to an exclusive Curator’s tour of Alison Watt: From Light. This will be Alison Watt’s first exhibition in a public gallery in London since 2008.

The exhibition features a new series of paintings which resonate with the architecture and collection of Sir John Soane, the architect of Pitzhanger Manor. Watt’s practice, rooted in a fascination with light, echoes strongly with Soane’s innovative manipulation of light to shape space and create atmosphere.
