Art Workshops: The Pride of England

The Three Lions need your old footballs! Help London-based artist Matt Small decorate his sculptural artworks of the Three Lions made to inspire the England men’s football team as they gear up for Euro 2024.

In these very special workshops, bring in your old footballs (or use footballs provided) and decorate them with drawings (like a picture of your favourite England player), colourful designs, or just words of encouragement to the team. Matt will then use the designs to cover his sculptures with the decorated footballs!

Sports Day with Brentford FC Community Sports Trust

Staff and young leaders from Brentford FC Community Sports Trust will be running multi sports and games throughout the day on our grounds in Walpole Park. Drop in anytime from 11am-4pm before or after your art workshop!

Note

• Spaces are limited and operate on a first come, first serve basis, so book in advance to avoid disappointment.
• Please note that children attending the workshop must be supervised by their accompanying adults at all times.
• Each session will run for up to one hour.

About the Artist

Matt Small was previously commissioned by the FA to create the series, This is England for Euro 2020, a series of portraits of the England men’s football team that was displayed at Pitzhanger following the tournament.
