Acclaimed journalist and bestselling author Sathnam Sanghera’s ‘ground-breaking Empireland’ showed how empire continues to shape life in Britain today. Join him to hear more about his latest book ‘Empire world’ which expands his exploration of British imperial legacies from Barbados and Mauritius to India and Nigeria, and beyond.
Sathnam Sanghera is an award-winning journalist and author whose previous books include ‘Empireland’ and a Costa shortlisted memoir ‘The Boy with the Topknot’. He lives in London
The aim of Ealing Book Festival is to celebrate the joy of reading and to advance engagement and education around literature and reading.
