Phil Manzanera in conversation with Stuart Prebble discussing his new book ‘Revolución to Roxy’
Legendary guitarist for Roxy Music and acclaimed solo musician Phil Manzanera shares his eventful life story, from his musical roots as a child in pre-revolution Cuba, Hawaii, Venezuela and Columbia, to his Roxy Music audition and subsequent years touring with the band during the art/glam rock boom. Phil will also talk about his years as a leading music producer and his experiences with artists from David Gilmour to Bob Dylan.
The aim of Ealing Book Festival is to celebrate the joy of reading and to advance engagement and education around literature and reading. Through our events we hope to bring people and communities together; inspire and develop writers of all ages; showcase well-known authors and promote local writers, and grow book-loving audiences.
