Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery is proud to partner with The Ealing Book Festival for its launch event generously supported by Savills. For the launch, writer and ex-BBC journalist Rory Cellan-Jones, in conversation with Rebecca Jones, discusses his newly published book Ruskin Park: Sylvia, Me and the BBC. This is a moving memoir in search of the truth behind his isolated childhood and absent father, in which Rory uncovers the papers, letters and diaries; that reveal a relationship between two colleagues (two romantics) and the restrictive forces of post-war respectability and prejudice that ended it.
