Guided Tours

From exploring Soane’s fully restored historic manor to delving into Soane’s relationship with J. M. W. Turner, our tours are guided and curated with expert advice and led by one of our passionate and knowledgeable guides. See below for our current tours and how to book and get ready for a personal and engaging experience.

Classic Tour

Pitzhanger Manor was the country home of Sir John Soane, one of the most influential architects in British history. Soane designed many extraordinary buildings, but Pitzhanger is unique because it was designed, built and lived in by Soane himself. Engage even more with one of Britain’s most celebrated architects and explore his country home and personal life.

Our private group tours for up to 15 guests are available Wednesday through Saturday during our opening hours. Recommended booking times are 11am and 2pm. Booking is required, but once you are here, you are free to explore the manor and gallery independently, adding a sense of adventure to your visit. This freedom allows you to delve deeper into the history and art at your own pace. Additional guests may be accommodated for an extra fee, giving you the flexibility to bring along more friends or family.
