With three bank holidays and the half-term school break in May, it’s the perfect time to explore the exhibition Anthony Caro: The Inspiration of Architecture at Pitzhanger and participate in a range of activities. On Thursdays, We offer FREE admission from 5 pm to 8 pm with Pitzhanger Lates, where visitors can enjoy workshops, screenings, talks, and tours. Join us for an after-work art fix or a leisurely evening stroll around the exhibition.
Join artist Johanna Tagada Hoffbeck on Thursday 4 May for a playful sculpture session that explores unconventional approaches to sculpture-making using everyday materials. Discover the influence of Anthony Caro on contemporary sculpture and interact with the environment and others while experimenting with new techniques.

On Thursday 11 May, discover the sculptural qualities of weaving with basketweaver Emily Chilvers, who will teach you the ancient coiling technique. Using natural, man-made, and recycled materials, you’ll create a small, intricate basket while exploring structure and space with precut shapes.
