Experience Serenity with Yoga in the Gardens

Enhance your well-being with Hazel Gomez Sen’s expert guidance into Vinyasa flow yoga set in the serene gardens of Pitzhanger on 17 August. Try breathing techniques to harmonise your nervous system and asana postures to boost strength and flexibility.

Hazel’s compassionate teaching approach cultivates a safe space, encouraging you to unwind, be present, and explore the profound connection between body, mind, and surroundings. As an experienced yoga instructor, Hazel’s enthusiasm permeates her teachings, ensuring the session is accessible to all ages and abilities. Should the weather turn, the peaceful Eating Room is on standby to provide shelter.

Swirl into Fun with Hula Hooping in the Gardens

Join the Pitzhanger community on 10 August for a refreshing Hula Hooping in the Gardens session. Led by artist and well-being practitioner Sarah Richardson, this free drop-in workshop welcomes everyone, regardless of age or proficiency level. Sarah’s engaging approach guarantees you’ll be spinning a hoop and revelling in laughter in no time.

Hoops are supplied but are available on a first-come, first-served basis. It is recommended that participants limit their hooping to 30 minutes to allow others to partake in the merriment.

Honour the Mastery of Women in Music

On 24 August, join us for Women in Music – MMus Student Showcase, a compelling concert spotlighting the contributions of female composers and musicians.

Orchestrated by Maria Jimena Carmona as part of her MMus Performance degree at the University of West London, this event will envelop you in a distinctive soundscape curated as a tribute to the female pioneers shaping the world of music. Advance booking is advised.

Awaken Your Inner Playfulness: Paper Playscape Sculptures

Get playful and creative with ‘Paper Playscape Sculptures’ on 3 August. Inspired by the Child’s Tower Room, artist Emily Hopkins encourages you to shape a whimsical adult space through paper sculpture. This free drop-in workshop provides a new perspective on creativity, play, and the art of design.

As the workshop operates on a first-come, first-served basis, make sure you get the chance to construct a playscape that is uniquely your own.
