About
Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery is proud to offer a special community access rate for Soane’s Garden Room between 9.30am and 12.30pm from Monday to Thursday mornings.
Pitzhanger are proud to champion working with local groups and charities, positively impacting our community in Ealing.
Please complete our Community Hire Inquiry Form to register your interest in booking the space and a member of our team will get back to you as soon as possible.
Soane’s Garden Room is only available to groups and individuals who meet certain criteria, outlined below.
Criteria
- Only groups/individuals based in Ealing or which are able to demonstrate strong ongoing working ties to Ealing will be able to benefit from our community hire rate.
- You must demonstrate that the activities carried out using the community hire rate will benefit Ealing residents. The activities should be inclusive, free or low cost and open to all, supporting community cohesion.
- We prioritise activities that have an educational quality, especially ones geared towards children, young people, SEND groups, or the elderly, as well as activities that serve marginalised communities or address relevant social issues.
- We prioritise activities that occur regularly (weekly, fortnightly, monthly) over one-off events.
- Your organisation’s annual income must not exceed £250,000 in order to receive our community hire rate.
- All activities must comply with our building conservation requirements. This means that there are certain materials that cannot be used in any activities. This will be set out within your booking agreement.
Conditions
- Please note that priority for use of the space will be reserved for Pitzhanger’s core programmes as well as for full-price private hires.
- On the unlikely occasion that we require use of the space after you have already booked, we will offer you use of an alternative space (pending availability and suitability for the activity) or rearrange your activity for a different date and time.
- Whilst your hired spaces are exclusive, the rest of the Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery site is open to the public at some times.
- Contractors may occasionally need access to the site on booked days, and Pitzhanger will do the utmost to ensure minimal disruptions.
- Please note that all costs exclude VAT.
