Illustrator and animator Lauren Veevers is back to host a fun Open Sunday workshop for all. Inspired by the Chinese wallpaper in Pitzhanger’s Upper Drawing Room, Lauren will invite participants to use rubber stamps of leaves, plants, and birds with inks to create patterns and scenes on paper. You will complete your piece by collaging images of furniture from magazines over the top to bring them to life as a home setting!

This drop-in ukulele workshop for families is suitable for beginning ukulele players of all ages. Kjell from Strummy Mummies will give a free ukulele taster session at Pitzhanger. You will not believe playing this little instrument can be as easy and fun. You will be able to play a funky tune you and your child will love after just one session.

Enjoy a day out at Pitzhanger this half-term with a yoga workshop designed for families!
The Family Yoga session with Hazel Gomez allows families to bond through movement, breathing and relaxation to build trust, share quality time, and learn new skills. The session will start with some breathing, followed by fun yoga postures and end with a relaxation or mindfulness activity. Don’t miss this rare chance to practice yoga in the beautiful architecture and welcoming settings of the Pitzhanger.

Sing, clap and dance with MMus Performance students from the London College of Music at the University of West London as they play some of their favourite tunes and take us on a journey through music. Join us for an interactive performance of classical, jazz and popular music tailored to a young audience and free to all.

Practice your drawing skills with artist Lucia Ferguson in a free drop-in drawing workshop for families and people of all ages and abilities at Pitzhanger. Whether your family is full of seasoned artists looking to practice their technique or aspiring creatives looking to try something new, come to draw and be inspired by the architecture and design of Pitzhanger.

Artist Lauren Veevers will lead an experimental drawing session, drawing things collected from the gardens or images of objects from the manor using different materials and challenges. For example, ‘drawing with your eyes closed’ or ‘drawing with the wrong hand’ to explore different mark-making methods and capture the atmosphere and feelings about the house and gardens.
