Garfield Weston Foundation supports Pitzhanger’s outreach, enriching education and creativity in West London through 2027.

We are delighted to announce that a significant boost to our Learning and Outreach Programme at Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery, thanks to the generous support from the Garfield Weston Foundation. Over the next three years, this partnership will empower us to expand our initiatives across West London, making a tangible difference through 2027.

This funding will enable us to reach more schools, young people, and community partners than ever before. We are committed to fostering creativity and artistic expression within our community, ensuring that our impact not only continues but grows. With this support, we will provide exceptional creative encounters that inspire discovery, nurture self-expression, and enrich our community in Ealing.

A Look at Our Recent Programme Highlights

Our recent Matt Small ‘Pride of England’ exhibition was a resounding success, drawing in schools, families, and children to participate in workshops and activities. Highlights included:

  • Penalty Box Making: Children unleashed their creativity by designing and drawing their own star football player, complete with a unique outfit and a personalised mini-penalty box!
  • Collage Creations: Inspired by Matt Small’s evocative portraits of footballers, participants delved into the world of repurposed materials to create stunning collage masterpieces.

We have also welcomed numerous schools to Pitzhanger, where children explore the historical wonders of Sir John Soane’s manor and our dynamic exhibitions.

Looking Ahead

We are excited about the future of our Learning and Outreach Programme, with several thrilling projects on the horizon. Make sure to subscribe to our newsletter to stay updated on all our activities!

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Garfield Weston Foundation for their continued support. Their commitment allows us to inspire the next generation of artists, creatives, and changemakers. We look forward to making and enduring impact in our community, thanks to their generosity.
