Q: Do I need to set up an account to place an order? You do not require an account to place an order, however we will need your full contact details to purchase artwork.
Q: Is there an extra charge for VAT? Items are subject to standard rate VAT of 20% where applicable.
Q: What is the calculated difference between commercial gallery price and charity price? Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery is Registered Charity No. 1152434. The artworks included in the Artists for Pitzhanger art sale would typically sell for a much higher price in a gallery setting or at auction. Thanks to the generosity of the artists who have donated work, some of the works are being offered for a special charity price to incentive those willing to support us.
Q: Once I make a payment, how do I know I have secured my artwork? Once payment is made you will be emailed a confirmation receipt, if you have not received confirmation after 2 hours please email us at artistsforpitzhanger@pitzhanger.org.uk
Q: Are all the artworks framed? Some works are framed – this will be noted in the description.
Q: Is there an additional cost for framing if the artwork is unframed? Yes. We recommend the framers preferred by the artists, this will be detailed in the buying process, but buyers purchasing unframed works will be able to choose their own framers if they prefer.
Q: What shipping options do Pitzhanger offer in the UK and worldwide? The shipping costs for UK will be displayed during the ordering process. International buyers will be contacted to determine the most expedient and cost-effective delivery options for you. There will also be an option to collect from Pitzhanger where possible.
Q: When will I receive my artwork? Timing may be impacted by Covid-19 restrictions or delays, but we are aiming for artwork to be delivered in a matter of weeks after purchase. This may take longer depending on destination and restrictions on movement. Your work is being kept safely in storage or at the artist studio during this time. We are not responsible for any delays or additional charges resulting from destination customs clearance processes.
